Our Lady Help of Christians' LIFE TEEN meets from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. most Sunday evenings during the school year (see schedule below), and for various events during the summer.
Opportunities for service and fun abound!
High School youth are welcome to attend Life Teen gatherings whenever they can!

WHAT IS LIFE TEEN?
Our Sunday Life Nights
Who: Teens in grades 9th-12th and their friends (other denominations are welcome so please feel free to invite someone.)
What: A place to grow and practice your Catholic faith and encounter Jesus in a deep and powerful way and bring Him into your families and the world. We will have faith filled nights of catechesis, music, games, talks, small groups and Adoration.
When: Sundays (see schedule below)
5:00 pm- 6:30 pm Dinner followed by Life night
Where: We begin with dinner in the Social Hall.

Mount2000 (February 9-11, 2018) is a Catholic Retreat for high school students sponsored by the Seminarians of Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD.
The name 'Mount2000' came from the celebration of the Jubilee in 2000. For the last 17 years, Mount2000 has given students the opportunity to encounter Christ. During the weekend the sacraments of the Mass and Confession are offered. There is also Eucharistic Adoration, talks from guest speakers, and music concerts throughout the weekend.
Only 25 spots, register immediately,
because whatever spots we don't (register) by Dec 6th, we loose and they go to those parishes on the wait list.

After this date the registration is $85 (which does not include a possible $2-$3 credit card fee).
4 pm Mass
Youth serve as music ministers, lectors, ushers, greeters, and altar servers, and the homily is geared to the youth.
5-6:30 pm Dinner and Youth Gathering for FIAT (Elementary), EDGE (Middle School) and Life Teen (High School)

The College Care Package Program is an effort to keep Our Lady Help of Christians college students connected to us and our community while they are away.

YOUTH SUPPORT TEAM
The Youth Support Team is an integral part of our Youth Ministry at OLHOC!
It consists of different components utilizing diverse gifts and time commitments of parents and other interested volunteers from our parish.
These volunteer opportunities are great for:
* parents of youth to take an active role in their child’s faith in order to help them grow in their
relationship with our Lord
* anyone who wants to give their time and talent to serve God and His people.

Adults interested in helping out as members of the Core Teams or in any other capacity, please learn about our Child Protection Policy and requirements: VIRTUS
We begin our Life Teen (high school) life nights with dinner and fellowship. We are asking parents (or anyone interested) to sign up to provide the meal, dessert or drinks for the youth for that evening. You are free to bring whatever meal you would like on your selected day to the social hall between 4:30 -4:45 pm.
